May 22 Spring float:
Join us for a terrific water tour of the Looking Glass "Lower third", from Wacousta to Portland. Approx 5 hrs. Bring PFDs, lunch, camera, polarized sunglasses and your adventurous spirit. We plan a shore lunch; but byo lunch. Spot your car @ "Community Lake" parking lot on the LGR. Take I-96 Portland exit #77 into Portland. Turn right between the Independent Bank and Burger King. Follow the sign - turn left toward the park. FLG's trailer will be there too and has room for 4 additional boats…1st come, 1st served. Email: Glormil727@aol.com to save a spot.
The FLG spring flotilla will launch from Watertown Twp’s Heritage Park in Wacousta @ 10AM. Those wanting a shorter trip can either take out or put in at Howe Road, which is approximately the halfway point. Oars Up!
