We have our dates confirmed for our community clean-up events and are looking for your help!
Friends of the looking glass is a non-profit organization that operates on help from volunteers.
We are doing our best to keep our beautiful river clean and clear of any obstructions and accessible to all.
2026 Clean Up Dates
· May 17th | 1pm – Our spring clean up will be on May 17th, 2026! We are doing Riverside park (downtown dewitt) to Riverfront park (Airport and Herbison). See Facebook Event Link Here
· June 14th | 1pm – Our Second clean up will be on June 14th, 2026. The location for the clean up is Lowell Rd to Forest Hill Rd. See Facebook Event Link Here
· July 19th | 1pm – Our third clean up will be on July 19th, 2026! The location for the clean up is Riverfront Park (Herbison and Airport) to Lowell Rd. See Facebook Event Link Here
· August 23 | 1pm – Our fall clean up will be on August 23th, 2026! This clean up we will be tackling the Babcock’s Landing to Wood Rd section of river. See Facebook Event Here
· September 27 | 1pm – Our fall clean up will be on September 27nd, 2026! This clean up we will be tackling Wood Rd (Waters Edge Park) to Riverside Park.
This is a beautiful section of river and we are excited to get out there and keep it that way!
